PREDATORS: Are the single most dangerous element committed to putting the Shepherd out of business.
THE GREAT PYRENEES are the answer. If you have never seen the Great Pyrenees work then you are in for a
show. Here in West Tennessee coyotes are rampant, yet we have never suffered even one loss to predators. To find a
rescue Great Pyrenees contact "
West Tennessee Animal Rescue". WTAR does a great job. Afordable transport too.
1- "Lambing area" is a large pen or small
field that is close to the lambing barn.
This area will be for ewes that are close
to lambing.
2- After the ewe has had her lambs in
the lambing area, move her and the
lambs to the lambing pen(see photo on
left) where she is free to nures and bond.
3-After 3 days move the ewe and lambs
from the lambing pen to the creep area.
LEFT: Gabriel: Was
found by a
veterinarian after
being dumped in a
near by city when he
was 8 weeks of age.
Today "Gabe" is a
dedicated guardian.
There can be no
better dog then the
Great Pyrenees.
LEFT: With the sheep
safely in the building,
Gabe, along with a
"Foster" GP seal the
door and take a well
deserved break. The
instincts of the Great
Pyrenees are truly
amazing.
