Suffolk Sheep:

Suffolk Sheep are the largest meat Sheep in the world with
a extra bonus of taste, tenderness and leanness.

Our goal is to add as much meat as Possible to the Suffolk Sheep through
genetics and nutrition.  Our lambs average over a pound a day at weaning.

Dykstra"s Suffolks uses no drugs, hormones chemicals or even manufactured feeds.

We use all natural nutrition such as corn,soybean meal, oats, wheat, hay and molasses.

Genetics: We have traveled across the United States to obtain the best of meat producing Suffolk
Sheep stock to use as a foundation to build on.

This foundation stock came from Iowa, Indiana , Illinois and even a few from Tennessee.

Ultrasound muscle scans are used on Rams to insure quality meat production. It all starts with
genetics. When you take home a Ram from Dykstra Suffolks, you can be sure you have the best meat
producing genes available for your flock.

We have sold ram lambs from Nebraska to Georgia.

Price is a concern for all of us. While we will do what ever possible to keep prices as affordable for us
and you, we will not sacrifice any quality or standards to combat price. It is just not our creed.

We keep four distinct bloodlines for we can supply you a Ram every year. From time to time we add
quality stock to each of the four bloodlines.

When you buy a Ram from us, we will be glad to give you price, picture and ear tag number. You can
know the deal is done before you ever leave your drive way.

BELOW:"Norm". He was born 2/05 and used through 2008  He
had a long and straight back and produced the same with every
lamb he sired.  Norm is RR. "Norm was the lead Sire for the
2007 crop with our best lambs yet. In 2005, at seven months
old, Norm sired all twins from the ewes he was used on.  Below
are pictures of Norm, slick shorn, at 1.5 years old.  SOLD TO
GENE McNUTT for the 2008 breeding season.
